Cute set...gave it 4 instead of 5 stars due to design of the tail. I had to get creative with finding a way to attach it to my son's outfit.Not sure what the tail is supposed to attach to - it just has a small velcro loop at the end. I guess belt loops?? But my 3 year old doesn't wear anything with belt loops so I had to safety pin it on. The velcro was kind of weak anyway. He refused to wear it regardless, so I'm just happy it was cheap! The ears were cute, I had to cut the big annoying tags off for anyone to wear it, but it was fine for both kids and adults to wear for short periods of time just for fun. Just a bummer about the tail.l, I would have liked some more versatile way to attach it. Definitely worthwhile purchase at the price for a toddler who may or may not actually WEAR the costume no matter what it is, and decent enough quality to keep around in the dress up box.I used this for my 6 year old. It was a little too small for his head. But worked for the night.I needed ears for a bear costume, and these monkey ears work well and are better colors and price than other items actually marked as "bear ears".I would have rated higher if the materials were a little better quality, but considering the price it's good. The fabric for the tail and headband are what's used on carnival plushies. Looks good from afar but looks cheap up close and won't hold up for heavy use (ignore the cat hair in the pics - my furbaby insisted on keeping the tail and packaging).I was curious how the spiral on the ears was attached as I was considering removing it if it was a sticker or adhesive - it is painted on (not printed, but actually stamped on top of the fabric with paint). It doesn't look awkward for a bear costume so I'm leaving it. It's a little rough compared to the fabric or fur, but not noticeable unless you're a texture-fixated person.Got a lot of compliments on the ears ("They look like cinnamon rolls!") and the headband was incredibly comfortable (and stayed on through an entire modern dance class!). However, the ears are positioned for a child's head. When I (a 5'5" small-framed woman) put them on, the ears sat so high up they looked much more like bear or mouse ears. I ended up cutting them off and performing a hasty surgery to reattach them lower on the headband. Worked just fine, but took some time and rudimentary sewing skills. Also, the tail is VERY short...again, proportioned for a child.This was so cute and comfortable. I honestly wasn't going to get it because I thought it was for kids but the price was right so not losing much. I (an adult) wore it for a "Friends" theme party "dress as your favor friend" so of course I was Marcel and this was perfect.Eh....They are what they say they are. They are small without much shape. Quality is just ok. While waiting for these to be delivered my wife happened to find a pair for a dollar at a local store, so I had her pick them up just in case. The $1 pair ended up being larger, fuller, with better color and quality. Not good as this set cost more than 14x that amount.Review might should be two stars, but I bought them for my tiny 2-year-old to wear one time as part of her costume, so the fact that they are very small might actually be a good thing for us, and they should hold up fine for a single days use. Will work for us, but anyone over about 6yrs old is probably going to be a little disappointed.It’s a cute set but the tail doesn’t stay on.
