The install went pretty good.The only issue I have is the hum they now make in the wind. They are too high over/under and cause a horrid noise.I have to turn my radio up to ignore it. They will come off during the winter.no matter which way i installed them or what trick i did they still made the famous rack bar noise on the inside of the vehicle. I use them only when i have to. They are pretty easy to attach and remove.Cross bars fit well and I have traveled with them on both short and long travels, windows up and windows down,... I have never heard a noise come from these bars,.... added a basket to the vehicle which sits atop these bars and that has created no noise. any resulting noise others have complained about may result from the items they may have strapped to the equipment. 2007 Ford Explorer Eddie BauerThe items were what I expected, but were more difficult to install than anticipated.I got these for my 2008 Ford Explorer. Shipping was quick, packaging was ample, and the rails themselves were easy to install. Just pop off the plastic covers on back of the roof rails, slide in the connectors, then snap in the cross bars. Clear instructions explain it all.These are the original ford luggage racks. This comes with 2, one for the front, and one for the back. They come with everything you need to install on your existing ford explorer luggage rack. I have a 2008 Sport Trac and they fit great!!
